Alejandra Aguilar is a passionate communicator, sports advocate, and mother with over 16 years of experience across education, public relations, social impact, and sport. Her journey through football is deeply personal and profoundly transformative. After becoming a mother, Alejandra realized that women—especially moms—were often excluded from spaces that once gave them freedom, strength, and connection. Instead of accepting that reality, she decided to change it.
Why FutbolMoms Was Born
FutbolMoms was created to rewrite the narrative for women who still want to play, compete, laugh, and belong to a team—regardless of age, experience, or life stage. Alejandra saw football as more than a game: she saw it as a powerful tool for empowerment, mental well-being, leadership, and community building. The project exists to give women back their space on the pitch—and in their own lives.
