Growth Roadmap
Tomorrow
The Goal
The vision for the future includes nurturing well-educated and skilled sports professionals, strong community leaders, and business-minded young women. By continuing to invest in their growth, the program aims to equip girls with the confidence, knowledge, and opportunities they need to succeed in various fields.
The ultimate objective is to reach at least 10,000 participants in Kampala, Uganda, supported by a dedicated team of professionals. By expanding its reach, the program seeks to increase opportunities for girls in sports, challenge gender inequality, and highlight the transformative benefits of sports participation.
Today
The Beginnings
The program has expanded significantly, attracting many more young girls inspired by the initial participants. While progress has been steady, challenges remain, particularly in managing the growing number of activities designed to benefit and empower the girls. Despite these obstacles, the program continues to provide a safe space for learning, sports training, and personal development.
The initiative started with four young girls who were frequently sent home from school due to unpaid fees. Seeing their struggles, a concerned young girl took the initiative to support them with whatever resources she could. This small act of kindness created a foundation for what would later grow into a larger movement, providing girls with both educational and sports opportunities.
